PUBLIC RELATIONS AND THE SCHOOL COUNSELOR

One of the school counseling topics that has become of increasing importance during recent years is that of public relations. School counselors must continue to inform administrators and parents of the good work they are doing in order to maintain positions in the wake of ongoing funding challenges. Prior to graduation, school counseling students are getting encouragement and examples of this. However, as counselor educators, we are always looking for success stories from counselors in the field. Please share any information and/or presentations that you have found successful and I'll be sure to distribute that information to all counselor education programs in the state.
